Composing a tune:
At the Start screen, press the Menu key then scroll up to Extras and press Select. Now scroll to Composer and press Select. You will now see a list of (empty) slots (there are 7 in total). Choose Select again to enter into the Composer itself, the blank composer screen appears. Note: The number in the upper right hand corner indicates how many notes are available. Follow the key presses as shown in the phoneringsong codes. Then press the Navi key labelled Options. Play, Save and Tempo appear with Play highlighted. Press the Navi key labelled OK. The phone plays the tune.
Setting the Tempo:
Once you have composed a tone, press the Navi key labelled Options. Play, Save and Tempo appear with Play highlighted. Scroll down to Tempo then press the Navi key labelled OK. a list of tempos appear, scrolldown to the one shown on the code then press the Navi key labelled Select. Done appears.
Saving the Tone:
Once you have composed a tone, press the Navi key labelled Options. Play, Save and Tempo appear with Play highlighted. Scroll down to Save then press the Navi key labelled OK. The Tone name: prompt appears. Enter a name for the tone then press the Navi key labelled OK. Tone saved appears.
Selecting that tone to ring:
To make that tune ring when someone calls, in the Tones section select Ringing tone and scroll to the name of the tune you just saved and select OK. Don't forget that you can also assign a different ring tone to different people by choosing that option from the Phone Booksection
